Lymphatic Massage After Lipo 360 in Myrtle Beach, SC
Gentle drainage for your whole midsection: front, sides and back.
Lipo 360 treats your whole midsection: abdomen, flanks and back. That means swelling and tenderness all the way around while you heal. Post-op lymphatic massage uses light, rhythmic strokes to guide fluid out of the treated areas toward working lymph nodes, with no deep pressure on healing tissue. Mel is trained and certified in several manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) techniques and follows your surgeon’s plan.
How lymphatic massage fits into your recovery
Because Lipo 360 covers so much area, we work in stages: opening the pathways first, then moving through the front, sides and back so every treated area gets attention.
You may feel firm or uneven spots as you heal. Tell us what you’re noticing. We’ll work gently around those areas and let you know if anything seems worth showing your surgeon.
What we pay special attention to
Front, sides and back
Every treated area gets drained, with positioning that keeps pressure off the sore spots.
Gentle around firm spots
We adjust our approach and will point out anything you should mention to your surgeon.
Garment off, garment on
Your compression garment comes off for the session and goes right back on afterward.
An at-home plan
Easy self-drainage and positioning tips to keep you comfortable between visits.
When to start, and how many sessions
Your surgeon decides when you can start. Many clients begin once they’re cleared, often within the first week or two, and come more often early on, then less as swelling settles. Bring your surgeon’s instructions and we’ll plan around them.
What clients say
“If you’re looking for someone for post-operative lymphatic drainage or simply want exceptional care, I highly recommend her. Your recovery will be in excellent hands!”
Frequently asked questions
Do you help with firm or lumpy areas?
Tell us about them at your appointment. We’ll work gently and let you know if something seems worth showing your surgeon.
I had Lipo 360 with a BBL. Can you help?
Yes. We drain the liposuction areas and follow your surgeon’s rules for protecting the transferred fat. See our BBL page for more.
Do I wear my compression garment?
Yes. Wear it to your appointment. It comes off for the session and goes right back on, following your surgeon’s guidance.
Will it hurt?
It shouldn’t. The pressure is very light. If an area is tender, we slow down or work around it.
When to call your surgeon instead
Lymphatic massage supports your recovery, but it isn’t medical care. Contact your surgeon before your next session if you notice a fever, redness or warmth that is spreading, an incision that opens or drains in a way that worries you, or pain that is getting worse instead of better. If you have sudden swelling or pain in one leg, chest pain or trouble breathing, call 911.
