Post-op lymphatic care · Myrtle Beach, SC
Lymphatic Massage After a BBL in Myrtle Beach, SC
Gentle drainage for your lipo areas, positioned to protect your results.
A Brazilian butt lift combines liposuction, usually of the abdomen, flanks and back, with fat transfer to the buttocks. Most of the swelling is in the liposuction areas, and that’s where post-op lymphatic massage focuses: light, rhythmic strokes that guide fluid toward working lymph nodes while protecting the newly transferred fat. Mel is trained and certified in several manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) techniques and follows your surgeon’s instructions.
How lymphatic massage fits into your recovery
You won’t sit or lie on your buttocks during your session. We’ll position you face-down with support or on your side, following your surgeon’s rules for the first weeks.
The work concentrates on the areas that had liposuction. We avoid deep work on the transferred fat, and anything near your buttocks follows your surgeon’s guidance.

Frequently asked questions
Will you massage my buttocks?
We avoid deep work on the transferred fat. Any work near your buttocks follows your surgeon’s instructions.
How do I get to my appointment if I can’t sit?
Follow your surgeon’s sitting rules for the drive. Many clients use their BBL pillow or recline in the back seat.
Do I wear my compression garment?
Yes. It comes off for the session and goes right back on, following your surgeon’s guidance.
Can you help if I also had a tummy tuck?
Yes. Tell us everything that was done, and we’ll plan around each area.
When to call your surgeon instead
Lymphatic massage supports your recovery, but it isn’t medical care. Contact your surgeon before your next session if you notice a fever, redness or warmth that is spreading, an incision that opens or drains in a way that worries you, or pain that is getting worse instead of better. If you have sudden swelling or pain in one leg, chest pain or trouble breathing, call 911.
